Thanks much, Barbara. Looks interesting, but I’m again disappointed that so little is happening on this front in the East vs. West coasts. I am looking into Body Electric, which seems to be somewhat active in Philly and DC (where I live).

Was struck by your presence last night at In Other Words…and your courage for participating in Betty’s project. Now I read your words and my appreciation for you goes even higher. I suspect it to be difficult for those decades younger than people like Betty and me to truly grok what the literal dark ages of our youth were like. So for me to observe what you’re devoting yourself to is quite inspiring. It offers deepening trust that our species will be able to navigate our way out of the mess we’ve created.

I feel the authenticity in your hard-earned wisdom. Particularly like the last two lines of this essay — where you clarify the “not a strategy” — reflecting the depth of your own explorations. Thank you
